Meet your Teacher:
Hi I’m Abi and I am a mum to my gorgeous 2 year old. I have been a primary school teacher for over 4 years, and have had a long term passion for helping and inspiring children. My most enjoyable years of teaching were in year 1 where I worked hard to make sure the children were having so much fun that they forgot they were actually learning! Having my own child has reinforced my belief in the power of play and some of our most treasured memories are times when we are reading stories and books. I am so excited to share this with your amazing little people!
For anyone that is thinking of joining the story of frog I 100% recommend Abi she taught my daughter and we heard nothing but good things (and believe me my daughter would soon report if she was not happy with the teaching, little madam!! )As a mum and a teaching assistant I know the importance of fun/exciting reading to a child, my soon to be 10yr old loves reading and it makes getting her to do weekly homework much easier. Any class that encourages this is a great idea."
"Our children loved this session on Saturday! Cannot wait to start the Story Frog sessions in September ️"
"I attended a class today with my 3 year old & 5 year old. Abi was very welcoming and soon put the children at ease. The theme was Stick Man, which my kids love, and there was a mix of songs, activities around the theme, the story and phonics focussing on the letter 's'. My two children thoroughly enjoyed the session, especially making a woodland crown and their very own Stick Man! It's great that the class gives you ideas of simple activities that you can also do at home and shows how easy it is to introduce phonics into play with toddlers.
Thank you very much Abi,
we'll be seeing you again very soon!"
"Phoebe loved todays session! She talked about it all the way home and wanted to dress up as a superhero this afternoon!"
